Power Magnetronics make liquid trap magnet is designed to extract the ferrous material from the liquid, semi-liquid, and air conveying powder in order to purify the material in the production process. Strong magnetic tubes inside the housing filtrates the flow and pick out the unwanted ferrous metal. The unit is simply mounted to the existing pipeline via flanged or threaded ends. Easy access is also possible using the quick release clamp. It provides magnetic protection for liquid lines and processing equipment. They preserve product purity by removing small particles of magnetic scale, rust and fine iron contamination.
As liquids or slurries are pumped through the liquid trap, ferrous contaminants adhere to the strategically placed magnetic tubes. The design and construction allow the tramp iron to work around the downstream side of the tubes where it is safely out of the product flow and wash off is prevented. Cleaning is achieved by removing the top plate and removing the magnet assembly from the housing. The housing is designed not only to house the magnetic tubes but also to act as a sump. Unwanted non-magnetic particles tend to gravitate to the bottom of the enclosure.
Liquid trap magnets are engineered to remove ferrous contaminants from liquid and slurry lines. Efficiently remove tramp iron before maintenance and product contamination problems. The benefits of this magnetic separator can be experienced in most cases with no appreciable pressure drop or reduction in flow rates. All units incorporate a sump type of housing to trap non-ferrous particles. Liquid Traps may be installed horizontally, vertically, or on an angle without affecting their magnetic efficiency. All models of Ferrous Traps have a constant powerful magnetic circuit designed to attract and hold iron contamination. Clean, simple designs have no moving parts. Powerful, permanent magnetic element will perform well handling materials.
